Daulat Ganj Safari
About the safari
Daulat Ganj Safari is the jungle-and-heritage circuit that starts at the Daulatganj forest check post, near the diversion channel in Dabi tehsil, Kota. Gypsy or canter, about two hours, in and out at the same gate.
The drive follows dry deciduous forest, rocky slopes and the Chambal gorge — with Kotia Bhil Fort, Akelgarh and the Garadia viewpoints on the same loop.
Kota reporting in 2026 described this route as the next eco-tourism product in Hadoti after Garadia Mahadev. The idea is simple: a heritage-and-wildlife drive close to the city, with gypsy and canter, watch towers, railings on the Chambal cliffs, and a gate close to Kota.
This website exists so travellers can read that landscape honestly — leopard and bear country, forts, gorge views — before they book a Forest Department permit.
